Click the "Cached", thats where you get the Answers.
Ops! you still see the Subscribe Now Image? Don't worry, just scroll down a bit... TAADA! Answers! Awesome!.
Try it now, works Great.

Iframe Method for Facebook Like

So, I tested with the Iframe method too. It is actually the most easiest way to insert Facebook like to your blogger post. I am still using the FBML version though.
Here is how you do it.
For Blogger/Blogspot

  1. Go to Layout (Design) > Edit HTML and check “Expand Widget Templates”.
  2. Find <data:post.body/> and Below the line add the following codes.
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != &quot;static_page&quot;'> <iframe allowTransparency='true' expr:src='&quot;http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=&quot; + data:post.url + &quot;&amp;send=false&amp;layout=button_count&amp;show_faces=false&amp;width=90&amp;action=like&amp;font=arial&amp;colorscheme=light&amp;height=21&quot;' frameborder='0' scrolling='no' style='border:none; overflow:hidden; width:90px; height:21px;'/> </b:if>

The blue coloured ones can be changed according to the your needs. Or got to http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ and customize your Button.
See related post : http://likeweb.blogspot.com/2011/10/finally-i-got-facebook-like-button.html

Test the FBML and IFrame version, and share which one works best with you.

Finally, I got the Facebook Like Button. WoHoo!

After two days(now its way faster than that) of searching and testing I got it. Finally I got the facebook like button to work properly on my blog. Here's how I did it.

First Goto to http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ . Here you will get the required code to insert the like button.
Select the required options as you want, the most important is the URL to Like. It is where you set the post or website which you want to link like button.

For now just type anything there (need to be changed if for blog posts). In Layout Style if you just need a small like box then choose the "button_count".
In the width option, if you chose "button_count" then 150 will just be enough for you. Enter 450 if you want a bit detailed view.

Show Faces shows the Profile Picture of the one who liked the page.

After you click on Get Code a pop-up box will appear showing you the code.

Select XFBML for now and I guide you to rest.
I tried with the other methods HTML5 and IFRAME, the result was not like as I wanted so I chose XFBML.
Choose XFBML for now.
  1.  First you have to do is copy the code in second box. You don't need to copy all, just copy the xmlns:fb="http://ogp.me/ns/fb#"
  2. Now Go to  Blogger and Overview(Dashboard)> Template> Edit HTML. Tick the "Expand Widget Template". You can backup the Code in Notepad if any error occurs.
  3. Find your <HTML ...tag. copy the above code and paste before the ">" of the HTML tag.
  4. Now Find <data:post.body/>Then right below the line paste the code from the First Box(above image).
  5. Then paste another code from the third box(above image) , to the another line below.
    Important:
Now change the code of third box href='post.url' to expr:href='data:post.url'. This gives the link of the post you are currently viewing.

You like button must be up and running after this. Do ask if any questions.
Click here for The iframe method.

Convert your documents (pdf, doc, txt and more) to your Language

Google docs is a great application, you already know that. There are numerous features available on Google Docs. For starters if you haven't noticed the small 'Translate Document' from the 'Tools' menu, this is the right place to know. You can translate files like pdf, doc, txt, html, xls, docx.

You can translate you documents in two ways :
1. Google Translate
The link translate a document can translate you documents fast and easy.

2. Google Docs
So there is Google translate to translate your documents but why use Google Docs? If you just want to translate you document then Google Translate will suffice, but with google docs you can edit your documents. The ability to edit pdf files is the most exciting because there aren't much of free and easy to use pdf editors out there. To edit your pdf files you first need to upload them and convert them to google docs. You can do it as
Select a pdf file to convert  > Actions > Made a google docs copy.

After you have made a copy then click on it. You will be taken to editing mode for that document. From the page in menus >Tools>Translate document. Then choose your language to translate the document into.
You can create a copy of the translated document, download to you computer.

Aww.. Adobe edge is not for windows XP

Ahh.. I've been waiting for Adobe Edge since I heard about it. I love web designing and trying the new thing (HTML5 and CSS3 ); I was very excited. So, today I got the chance to download the Edge from adobe website. After finishing the download of about 67 MB in a slow connection I quickly tried to open the magic box. I was really excited about it. Then.. a error appeared. Just an error; "oh, doesn't support XP error!, Bullshit.". Ahh! can't tell how my excitement died down for a while. Read more about it and found the edge really didn't work with XP. I can't even get Windows 7 for my dying old computer.
I'm really angry at Adobe. They make so many softwares and can't even make them work with XP (most used OS, I said). Even the ITunes works on XP (Guessed that was irrelevant) how can edge not work on XP.

Anyway for newbies, Adobe Edge might be the replacement for aging Flash and a free replacement (Yeah! its free for now). Edge is a builder for HTML5 and CSS3 websites. You can do the animation much like in the Flash and use it in your website without any additional addons (Anyway your browser needs to support; any latest browser will support HTML5 and CSS3). However you have used Adobe flash then your will be at home with Edge, because the interface is much like Flash.

I just hope (\/,) they get it for XP .

Characters and environment are setup now you need is a short story(short is really good for starters; you will know when you make 5 sec of animation, xD).

After you make your Animation video it will be posted for viewing. Sharing is can be really helpful for your future projects because, more 'likes' you get from viewers you can unlock items needed for your animation. Watch other videos and learn from them... until then I am thinking of a story(Hmmm)

Install Android SDK and Run the android Apps

Before, I helped you guys with installing the Android LiveCD. Now here's how you can install Andorid on your PC working side by side with Windows, using Android SDK. Before download look at the System Requirements.
http://developer.android.com/sdk/requirements.html

  1. Go to http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html.
  2. Java from http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp. If you don't already have it. It is recommended to install newer version of Java(JDE).
  3. you want to develop apps from the SDK then you will also need to download ECLIPSE. But that's the other part. Download it from
    http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/

The "Eclipse Classic" version is recommended. Otherwise, a Java or RCP version of Eclipse is recommended.
Now Setting up Android Virtual Device (AVD). ADV is your Virtual Phone where you run your Android.
  1. Launch ADV from Eclipse by clicking Window > Android SDK and AVD Manager. You can also start the AVD Manager from the command line by calling the android tool in the tools directory of the Android SDK.
  2. Click New and the ADV creation dialog appears. Enter a size under SD Card. It's not an actual SD card but it stores the IMG file of the Android for storing Data. Eg:512.
  3. Then Click Create AVD.You’re now ready to run Android on your PC! Select your new virtual Android by clicking Start.
Now for Installing Apps on your Virtual Android.
  1. Start your AVD. It may take some time to load. After it loads you can see a browser app. Click on it and goto:https://market.android.com/ You will need to Register or Login through your existing Account. Select Apps you want and Download them.
  2. The Default Apps like email work great. However the call app may(will?) not work. The games you download will work great. I tried Angry Birds and Pac Man.
Enjoy your Android and apps.

Now Turn to HTML5- web experience and Gaming

I just upgraded my firefox to 4.0. After installation on the start up page there was something flashy icon which brought me to this link https://demos.mozilla.org/en-US/?WT.mc_id=s4&WT.mc_ev=click

Ahh! more flashy inside. :)
I remember those days when I was kid and used to go cyber to play the miniclip games. It had most of the best flash games at that time. Small flash games would load in an instant, then the bigger ones lagged or took long times to open. Still there are many flash games available on the web.

So those things on the flashy website are made by HTML5, which I exactly don't know what it means but are great. No need to to install additional softwares like for the flash you need to download a flash player.

This website only requires you to have HTML5 supported web browser(new versions of Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari, IE9). The best part is you can even run it on your mobile phones. Why it is that a best part? That means you can even play HTML5 games built for mobile phones. Anyway the performance in the HTML5 website directly depends on the browser you are using and having a better GPU(Graphics Processing Unit) also helps.

Think flash is still better ? Think again after viewing this website http://html5games.com/
https://demos.mozilla.org/

Get to know HTML 5 better:

Meanwhile, Firefox 4 rocks. Mmm and Opera super rocks(hope \/,)

Here are some Good Bux sites that paid me

Mmm.. guys remember my last post about bux sites? A honest answer here, most of them didn't paid me as I thought they would. The buxgroups were bigger disappointments. They neither paid me nor left the business. Most of scam sites usually vanish after cashing up some moolah. The buxgroups put me in limbo, their ToS, Omg should have read it( smart kid clicked all the way to register. :P) before signing up is complete mess. I even lost(invested, wtf) $6 which I earned from neobux and onbux in that scam site. Ok I gonna stop about the F... scam sites and tell you about the bux sites that did paid me.

The #1 are onbux.com and neobux.com .
They are the best out there. I have got a total of $10 from them without much referrals(just 2 referrals) A steady source of little money for your alertpay account or paypal. The little money can be bigger with more referrals anyway.

#2 is aobux. updated 02/03/2011 : Umm wtf this site is now suspended!... Sorry guys... Now i can't trust any Bux sites... They all are scams

Same like the onbux and neobux but kept on #2 because no additional ads for standard members as in the #1's.

These 3 only has paid me for the total of bux I had registered. Others mostly were scams and in some still minimum amount is not reached.

A thing to note: The "#1" neobux is nowadays giving low paying ads (0.001) from before 0.01 per ad click. If the condition last longer then I will have to let it go. And yah! I am searching for good bux sites that do actually pays.
Update: Onbux is also not working now a days. Its really hard to trust a bux site now a days. For trusted bux sites you can look them up at http://ptc-investigation.com

Wolfram|Alpha - whats in it?

http://www.wolframalpha.com/
Wikipedia and Google are perhaps two of the biggest resources for any students and seekers alike. But there have been times when what we've been looking for was either lost in the millions of search results—the data that we were looking for were either jumbled up or we had to refer to many pages to collect them. But with Wolfram|Alpha—a hybrid of Wikipedia and Google—we now have something that actually answers our queries. They call it the 'computational knowledge engine'—something that answers queries from the 'dynamic computations based on a vast collection of built-in data, algorithms, and methods' rather than the plain old list of web-links like our good old search engines. This means that whatever your question might be, Wolfram|Alpha tries to compute an answer and lay it out for you—be it 'What is the distance between Kathmandu and Beijing' , 'What is the atomic weight of ' or 'Integrate Sin(x)*e^x from 0 to 5'. Voted as the greatest computational innovation of 2009, Wolfram|Alpha is a boon for students as it not only processes natural human language to answer queries but also helps find scientific and socio-economic data in a jiffy. Additionally, one can learn the solution of complex mathematical problems "one step at a time".

It can read natural language
Have you ever wondered why the chicken crossed the road? Ask Wolfram; you will surely get an answer. Wolfram|Alpha even figures out complex filial relations (husband of mother's uncle's daughter) for you with a family tree. Whenever we use our computers, language has been a problem because our computer doesn't speak or think in English and we normally can't speak or think in binary and algorithms. Wolfram|Alpha is breaking that barrier and although the natural language processing they have adopted is not foolproof, it's one of the best there is in the world.

It can help you with math
Want help with your math homework? Wolfram|Alpha is there to rescue. Just enter in the equation you want solved (say, for example, Solve 3(x^2) + x-9=4x), and then click the Show steps link to see how you could solve the problem yourself the next time without help from Wolfram|Alpha. It'll then walk you through all the steps necessary to reach your answer. Wolfram|Alpha also generates graphs and formulas according to your need.

Exercise with Wolfram|Alpha
We all want to look fit. But, in this busy world who has the time for gym, right? Thanks to Wolfram|Alpha, you can now find out how many calories you can burn with the activities that you do regularly. Once you've inputted a specific physical activity, your personal statistics (age, gender, height, weight) and other relevant information (such as distance and time), Wolfram|Alpha will provide you with several statistics regarding your exercise and suggest alternative activities as well (for example: 30-year-old male, 70kg, climbing 3000 steps).

Make it accessible
Wolfram|Alpha can be installed as an extension in almost all of the modern browsers. So, get it! Enjoy its goodness on-demand. Want results on the go? Get it for your mobile then. Wolfram|Alpha app is available for almost all the leading mobile platforms (iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, and Nokia). Installing to your iPhone will cost a meager sum of $2, but if you don't want to pay for that then you can simply go to m.wolframalpha.com from the safari browser in your iPhone. There are other tons of widgets and toolbars available, you can find all these here: http://www.wolframalpha.com/downloads.html.

After you have found the information you were looking for, don't copy and paste the text or save it as a web page. Just scroll down the page and look for "save as PDF" option on the bottom of your result and click it. Wolfram will then generate a PDF version of your result, then click File > Save a Copy to save it. Doing this will save you a lot of time you would have otherwise wasted fixing alignments had you copied the text from the webpage.

Some PTC bux sites that do pays - I've used them

The bux websites have been brought down by numerous scams which many of us have encountered. So I after registering to many PTC bux sites and also getting scammed found some good bux sites that really pays. Here's the list. Ahh if you found this worthwhile then do register through my referral.

http://www.freebirdbux.com/?ref=ruchan01
http://www.memberbux.com/?ref=ruchan01
http://www.yourprofitbux.com/?ref=ruchan01
http://www.buxreflink.com/?ref=ruchan01
http://www.bninvestmentsbux.com/?ref=ruchan01
Linkhttp://www.globalinvestmentsbux.com/?ref=ruchan01
http://www.thebuxgroup.com/?ref=ruchan01

The links on the top have similar design, so don't get confused. Actually they are made from same bux host which makes them look alike.
Update:13-02-2011. The top PTCs actually need investment ($6) for the payout. Sorry for the late information.

http://www.incrasebux.com/register.php/ruchan01.html
http://www.aobux.com/?ref=ruchan01
http://www.onbux.com/?rh=b8cd221baee2787de2c730c7a581128e
http://www.neobux.com/?rh=72756368616E3031

And if you want to find out for yourself some good PTC sites then here are some tips:
1. Try to look out for old PTCs as they have more userbase and more likely honest PTC.
2. If some PTC offers high pay per ad (0.02 or heigher) for free members then they are probably scam.
3. If a PTC boasts of paying high amounts to the members then first check its total users(like in above picture) and creation date. New PTC boasting high payments are more likely scam.
4. When looking out for new PTC do Google on them for their payment proofs and user reviews.
5. IMPORTANT: Always read the Terms and Conditions before you register.
These are just some of my thoughts on PTC. If you have any good PTC to recommend do share with us.

Monoface - A fun facemash

http://www.mono-1.com/

I just stumbleupon this funny website; monoface. Quite refreshing as you can alter facial elements on head by clicking on it. The facial elements are of about 15 peoples. You can mix them up to make a completely gruesome faces.

I wasted about an hour on this one, I don't know why. Anyway worth a look guys.
